I went on a York Award Teamwork Development Course. Because I am a glutton for punishment, and also because if York Uni are going to screw me out of £3,000 a year, I am going to take them for every bit of possibly job-application enhancing experience I can get!
And involved in this valuable experience were marbles, Lego, and glitter-glue! I'm sure I should have been taking it more seriously, but they weren't making it easy!
There was also scrambling around in rhododendron forests and mud for no discernible purpose! Large portions of my childhood were spent exploring various forests/streams/moors/coasts etc., this is Regression for me! (Apologies to everyone who played conkers; I never did, and I'm probably the worse for missing out!) :P |
